The medical gauze pad is mainly made of medical degreased gauze and X-ray detectable barium thread (sheet) through sewing and processing. The color is white and has high water absorption.  Medical gauze pad has higher requirements on softness and air permeability than ordinary gauze, and has better blood-sucking and liquid-absorbing properties.  Medical gauze pad is mainly suitable for newborn infants (0-12 months), pregnant women before/after delivery, incontinence and mobility, patients bedridden for a long time, and surgical care.  Therefore, the requirements for medical gauze pads are higher. In addition to their ordinary properties, they also require their product properties to be sterilized at high temperature and disinfected at high temperature.  This is conducive to wound dressing and reduces the risk of wound infection after surgery.  Although medical gauze piece requires higher requirements, we must pay special attention to it in the process of use: especially pregnant and lying-in women, newborn babies and surgical care.  Before use, make sure that the package is not damaged and the shelf life is good (because gauze should be sterilized at high temperature, disinfected, etc. to ensure use within the shelf life and reduce the possibility of bacteria generation).  Then according to the size of the patient's wound, select the appropriate gauze pad specifications;  When using, be sure to pay attention to, wash your hands, tear open the packing bag, do not take out the medical gauze pad by hand, but take out the gauze with a clean clip.
